This new part-time post (0.8FTE) is available immediately on a permanent basis (subject to final approval). This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working - some time on campus and some from home.

The role
In this role you will support the HR Immigration Manager to manage the day-to-day administration of systems and processes associated with visas, including compliance. You will also provide advice to colleagues, applicants, and recruiting managers on visa processes and issues that surround international employment.
What you will be doing:
Acting as the first point of contact to provide advice and guidance
Providing administrative support for visa applications
Maintaining and updating visa records to keep track of progress
Preparing and checking documents before issuing certificates of sponsorship
Carrying out right to work document checks
Using the UKVI sponsorship management system to maintain compliance.

We are looking for people with:
Recent administrative experience working within a large HR Department advising staff and line managers
A genuine interest in International Employment and the ability to quickly develop an understanding of UKVI guidance
A strong customer service focus
The ability to juggle competing priorities and work to deadlines
Strong attention to detail
