Based in our Manchester office just two days a week with the team always in on Tuesdays. If you've got some HR experience under your belt and you're ready to step up, this role offers the perfect next move. You'll get further experience, room to grow, and the chance to build considerable relationships across the business in a fast-paced but welcoming environment.


Responsibilities:

In this role, you'll be a key point of contact for first line HR advice, offering clear and practical guidance to colleagues and line managers across a range of queries. You'll support and coach managers on policies and employee relations matters such as absence, performance, conduct, and probation, and support on managing flexible working and family leave processes. You'll also play an active role in investigations, disciplinary, and grievance meetings, escalating to ER Specialists/HR Business Partners where needed.



Beyond day-to-day support, you'll help keep our HR operations running smoothly by managing employee lifecycle processes from onboarding and changes to terms, to offboarding. You'll ensure our HR systems are kept up to date with accurate records, maintain HR templates and documentation in line with legislation, and get involved in wider HR projects and process improvements that help drive continuous progress across the team.


What will help you succeed in this role? :

Previous experience in a generalist HR role, such as HR Assistant or HR Administrator Solid understanding of HR policies, employment law, and best practice Excellent communication skills Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Confidence in working with stakeholders at all levels High attention to detail and a focus on delivering quality service Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel

Desirable



CIPD Level 3 qualified Currently studying or working towards CIPD Level 5
