An exciting time to join Van Oord Offshore Wind UK for an experienced HR Advisor. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to work as part of an International HR group . This is a full-time hybrid working position for up to 6 months, predominately working from home with travel to the Thornaby/Stokesley office.
Your responsibilities
As a HR Advisor you will provide comprehensive HR support in relation to the full employment cycle, with sound knowledge and proven application of employment law you will assist the Company in delivering a wide range of HR activities and employment terms. As part of an international HR team you will be involved in local and international HR related projects: mainly working alongside the HR Business Partner to deliver the new HR transformational project Workday and UK Workday Knowledge base information.

The HR Advisor will have a pro-active hands-on approach, who will be able to work independently to manage challenging operational duties and multiple projects to a precise and accurate standard. Essential
Extensive HR experience in relation to the full employment cycle, supporting a Company in delivering of HR activities and employment law, in areas such as: Recruitment and Selection, Absence Management, Discipline and Grievance, Learning and Development - Succession Planning and Talent Management, Equality and Inclusion, Health and Wellbeing, Leaving Employment
Extensive experience in managing Workday and Workday procedures.
Understanding and delivery of HR related matters in line with best practice and employment law.
Experience in writing procedures in line with employment law.
HR Qualification and professional member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD) would be an advantage
Active in continuous learning in relation to employment law, HR best practice and own personal development
Ability to occasionally travel (inter)nationally mainly to the Netherlands offices
