We are seeking a proactive and experienced part time HR Advisor to support our dynamic medical device manufacturing team. In this role you will provide day-to-day HR support across both production and office environments.
Main Responsibilities
Act as a first point of contact for all HR related queries from employees and managers.
Provide guidance and support on employment relations issues including absence management, disciplinary procedures and performance concerns in line with company policy and UK employment law.
Maintain and update HR records and systems ensuring compliance with GDPR and confidentiality standards.
Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, including employment contracts, inductions, and exit interviews.
Support recruitment activities through structures recruitment and selection processes.
Assist with implementing the annual performance review process and probation reviews.
Assist with updating HR policies in line with legal requirements and business needs.
Support the development and maintenance of an employee handbook.
Organise employee engagement initiatives and support wellbeing, diversity and inclusion programs.
Advise on diversity, equity and inclusion efforts.
Contribute to HR related projects such as employee retention, pay benchmarking, policy rollouts, process improvement and system implementations.
Assist with the preparation of HR reports and analytics.
Support the training and development of other team members.
Required Education & Experience
CIPD Level 5
Minimum 5 years' experience in a HR Advisor role.
Strong understanding of UK employment legislation and best practice
Experience of working in a manufacturing envrionment
