We currently have an exciting opportunity for a HR Advisor to join our HR Department on a permanent basis, based at our Stena Drilling Office in Aberdeen.
Some of the duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Facilitate and lead the Company's discipline and grievance matters. Ensure compliance with Company procedures and statutory legislation.
Provide advice and support for workplace/industrial relations issues.
Facilitate Performance Management controls.
Support Assistant HR Manager to develop the Company's Performance Management system. Proactively analyse and research, continually providing suggested improvement initiatives to the Assistant HR Manager.
Supervision of monitoring sickness and absence strategies and assist in applying across the fleet with guidance from medical and OH providers.
Lead personal injury and insurance claims with the Company's insurers.
Develop employee engagement strategies (reviewing employee motivation, commitment, organisation culture etc.) and supporting new initiatives.
Support Chief HR Officer and Assistant HR Manager in implementing HR initiatives in line with the Company's strategic and operational objectives.
Assist in the development of HR policy documents and procedures where required.
Develop and promote the HR Department digitalisation and automation initiatives.
Mentor and provide guidance to the Core Human Resources Team.
Any other duties as required by the Chief HR Officer and Assistant HR Manager.
The successful candidate will hold the below experience and qualifications:
Significant experience in a HR advisory role
Proven experience in handling complex HR casework including redundancy, disciplinary, and grievance procedures.
Experience in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
Proven digitalisation and automation projects experience.
Up-to-date knowledge of employment law.
Industry relevant experience (ideally relevant Drilling Contractor experience).
Degree in Human Resources/Business/related field.
