We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time HR Advisor to join our small, friendly and busy HR team to provide responsive, high quality, proactive & legally compliant advice to Line Management in all generalist areas of Human Resources including (but not limited to) Wellbeing, Employee/Line Management advice & guidance, Absence Management, Performance Management and Change Management.
Main duties include:
Employee Relations casework ie conduct, capability, grievances, probationary reviews and performance management.
Advice and guidance on absence management i.e long and short-term sickness, flexible working, sabbaticals.
Developing the Wellbeing offering across the business to ensure it remains high on our agenda.
The potential to create, develop and maintain HR practices & policies, to support our People strategy may also be required.What we're looking for:
A minimum of 3 years HR generalist experience in supporting Line Managers with a range of people issues.
CIPD qualified to Level 5 minimum or relevant similar qualification.
Previous experience within a marine or service sector (though this is not essential).
A flexible, resilient & empathetic personal demeanour, demonstrating a confident & professional approach.
The successful candidate will work 32 hours per week, Monday to Friday, on a hybrid arrangement offering some remote working (typically two days per week).
