This is a great opportunity to join Henshaws as an HR Manager in a rewarding and flexible job share role. Working 12-14 hours per week on a permanent basis, you will take a leading role in guiding our HR team and supporting managers across the charity with expert advice and practical solutions.
You'll manage day-to-day HR operations, help shape our HR strategy, and drive positive change through projects such as wellbeing, performance and policy.
This role is ideal for someone with strong HR leadership experience who enjoys variety, problem-solving and working closely with others to make a real difference.
Your work will help build confident and capable managers, ensure our practices are fair and inclusive, and support a positive culture across the organisation.
Salary: 20.89per hour. 13,035.36-15,207.92 per annum (pro rata)
Hours per week: 12-14 (x2 6 or 7 hour days)
Weeks per Year: 52

Requirements:

We're looking for someone with solid experience in HR management and a strong working knowledge of employment law, policy and best practice.
You'll need the confidence to lead a team and the ability to advise others clearly and constructively, especially when dealing with complex issues.
To apply, you should have:
Level 5 CIPD qualification (or equivalent)
Good literacy and numeracy skills
Experience managing people and supporting their development
A calm and thoughtful approach to employee relations
Confidence in working with HR systems and handling data
Experience in the care, education or voluntary sector would be a bonus, but not essential.
You will need to maintain confidentiality, work with integrity and support our values. A DBS check may be required.
