We are looking for both Full Time and Part Time HR Services Officers to join our Shared HR Service Centre to deliver a customer focused, effective and efficient HR transactional and administrative service to our two forces; Derbyshire Constabulary and Leicestershire Police. This is your chance to work within a vibrant and supportive team, that sit at the heart of our policing family by supporting and serving our people.

Our Employee Services team provides first-line HR advice across our forces. You will manage and resolve customer enquiries and requests for service support in line with the relevant force policies. These include dealing with transactional HR processes, such as resignations and retirements, maternity, transfers, flexible workings, secondments, absence management and general payroll related matters. When our employees have a HR related query or problem, our HR Services Officers are on hand to support; it is therefore essential that you are able to provide excellent customer service to every individual, every time.

To be successful in this role, you will be a resilient self-starter, an effective organiser and have experience in a HR position. As an excellent communicator, you will be able to deal confidently with internal and external customers verbally; over the telephone or face to face, and in writing. You will work with accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring maintenance of information and integrity of data records.

As a representative of HR, you will uphold the high standards of the department and the force, prioritising your work to meet our agreed deadlines and delivery standards, whilst also maintaining confidentiality. You\'ll be working alongside a variety of highly motivated, ambitious and capable people in a forward thinking organisation.

This role is graded as a C/D on the salary scale, currently \xc2\xa320,607 - \xc2\xa325,353.

For part time hours the salary will be calculated on a pro-rata basis, this is based on the number of hours for the vacancy.
