We're looking for a passionate and proactive HR professional to take the reins of our day-to-day HR operations. This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on involvement in every area of the employee experience. You'll work closely with our directors and department heads to shape a strong people culture and ensure the smooth running of HR across all departments.

Key Responsibilities -
Generalist HR Operations
Lead the delivery of a generalist HR service across the business
Act as the first point of contact for all HR-related queries
Oversee day-to-day HR administration and compliance with GDPR
Employee Lifecycle
Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding and induction processes
Prepare contracts, job offers, reference checks, DBS processing, and new starter set-up
Maintain accurate employee files and records in line with data protection legislation
Conduct exit interviews and provide directors with feedback and insights
Employee Relations
Manage employee concerns, investigations, grievances, and disciplinaries
Advise managers on employee matters in line with employment law and internal policy
Monitor and manage absences, lateness, return-to-work interviews, and TOIL
Performance & Engagement
Implement and manage performance review processes and PIPs
Deliver employee engagement surveys and action follow-up plans
Develop HR metrics to inform leadership decision-making
Coordinate recognition initiatives such as Employee of the Month
Training & Development
Identify training needs and create development plans in collaboration with managers
Organise and log training sessions, workshops, and seminars
Monitor and report on completion rates and outcomes
Policy & Compliance
Maintain, review and update all company policies and procedures annually
Ensure compliance with employment legislation and health & safety regulations
Provide managers and staff with guidance on internal policies and legal updates
Health & Safety (in collaboration with operations)
Support the implementation of health & safety policies
Coordinate staff training, drills, and H&S compliance documentation
Requirements:
CIPD Level 3 (minimum); Level 5 desirable or in progress
Solid understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices
Minimum 2 years' experience in a generalist HR role
Ability to work independently and manage a diverse workload
Strong communication, discretion, and organisation skills
Experience using HR systems (e.g. Citation) and reporting tools

Salary: 28,000-38,000 (dependent on experience)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm
