The Role:
We are searching for Hygiene Operatives to join our team at Avondale. Working in a fast-paced environment this is a physically active role which offers flexibility and comprehensive training combined with a pathway to promotion and career progression in a rapidly expanding company.
This key role is to effectively carry out a range of cleaning duties in accordance with the relevant Cleaning Schedule and instructions from the Hygiene Manager. To adhere to company policies and procedures as trained, in relation to Product Quality, Food Safety and Integrity.
Key responsibilities
Comply with cleaning schedules and checklists
To follow correct procedures on stripping equipment for cleaning
To report any faults or problems with equipment or in the departments
To maintain high standards of hygiene at all times
To store cleaning chemicals and equipment in safe areas away from food production areas
To use specified chemicals and equipment in a safe and efficient manner
To ensure that the Hygiene Checklist is accurately completed to audit standard
To use specified chemicals and equipment in a safe and efficient manner, following COSHH instructions as specified on all containers
To ensure that all cleaning materials and equipment are used in conjunction with the COSHH instruction as displayed on all containers
To observe good housekeeping in the department and general surroundings at all times, i.e., water hoses placed away and cleaning agents stored correctly before leaving
To adhere to Company general policies, i.e., Food Safety, Health Safety, Absence, etc.
To adhere to company policies and procedures as trained, in relation to Product Quality, Food Safety and Integrity.
Ensure Food Safety compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements to remain audit-ready at all times.
Contribute to the development of a culture of Integrity, collaboration ' do the right thing' approach in all interactions.
To do any other reasonable duties as required.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical fitness, manual dexterity and the resilience to work in varied working conditions.
Experience of working in food manufacturing or a multi-disciplined factory environment.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan and manage workloads.
Reliability in time-keeping and attendance
