Temporary, seasonal (November - January)
Hours:
Part-time & full-time shifts available (including evenings, weekends, and holidays)
About the Role
As an Ice Rink Assistant, you will help create a safe, fun, and memorable experience for all visitors. You'll be working in a lively, outdoor winter environment as part of a supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting customers with skate hire and returns
Ensuring customer safety on the ice
Providing excellent customer service both on and off the ice
Helping maintain a clean and safe rink environment
Supporting rink marshals to ensure safety on the ice
Dealing with customer enquiries and offering assistance where needed
About You
We're looking for friendly, approachable team players who enjoy working with the public. Ability to ice skate to a good standard is preferred (all skaters will be assessed by a qualified coach).
Essential qualities:
Excellent customer service skills
Reliable and punctual
Able to work in a busy, fast-paced environment
Flexible with working hours (evenings/weekends/holidays)
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
