Adam Bernard Solicitors is a dynamic and forward-thinking law firm dedicated to delivering high-quality legal services. With expertise across multiple practice areas, we are now expanding our Immigration Department and seeking a motivated Immigration Solicitor / Advisor to join our growing team.

Role Overview:

The Immigration Solicitor / Advisor will handle a diverse caseload, providing legal advice and representation to individual and business clients across all areas of immigration law. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent client-care skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to manage cases independently while working as part of a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

Advising and assisting clients with all types of immigration matters, including:

Personal Immigration

: spouse/partner visas, student visas, visitor visas, EUSS, ILR, naturalisation, asylum, and human rights applications.

Business Immigration

: sponsor licence applications, Skilled Worker visas, Global Talent, Innovator/Start-up visas, business visitor visas, and compliance advice. Preparing and submitting visa applications, appeals, and administrative/judicial review matters. Managing client caseload from initial consultation to successful outcome, including attending tribunals and liaising with the Home Office, where applicable. Drafting and reviewing legal documents, witness statements, and supporting evidence. Keeping up to date with changes in immigration law, policies, and procedures. Maintaining accurate case records, time recording, and compliance with the firm's systems and SRA requirements. Supporting business development initiatives, including networking, seminars, and contributing to marketing activities. Supervising junior staff or paralegals as required.
Key Requirements:

Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) or OISC Level 2/3 accredited Immigration Advisor. Minimum of 2 years' experience handling immigration matters (both personal and business immigration preferred). Strong knowledge of UK immigration rules, Home Office procedures, and tribunal practice. Excellent client care, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage a diverse caseload independently with minimal supervision. Strong drafting and advocacy skills. Organised, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
