About the Role:



The Inclusion and SEND Administrator plays a vital role in supporting the school's commitment to inclusive education. This position ensures the smooth and efficient coordination of administrative processes related to Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), safeguarding, and wider inclusion. By managing documentation, liaising with external agencies, and maintaining accurate records, the administrator enables staff to focus on delivering high-quality support to students. The role contributes directly to improving outcomes for vulnerable learners and ensuring every student has access to the support they need to thrive.

Main responsibilities will include:



providing administrative support and completing IT-based tasks as directed by the SENCO. This is to include use of Microsoft Office packages including Excel and Forms in order to produce reports in the prescribed format, for senior leaders, United Learning and external bodies inputting, interpreting and checking management information systems in order to provide high calibre robust information. Making changes to data and communicating this to relevant staff maintaining student files (and therein key documentation such as correspondence, provision maps and academic progress data) for all students identified under the SEND register at Statement/EHC level or SEND Support supporting communication with primary schools on matters of transition, recruitment and support for SEN students liaising as necessary with external agencies (under the direction of the SENCO) attending Annual EHCP Reviews, in order to note take, under the direction of the SENCO ensuring that reports to support students with SEN are produced accurately, which will include collating information for bids for additional support liaising with faculty leaders regarding special exam arrangements, ensuring the SENCO has all relevant paperwork in a timely fashion, and as applicable to each Year Group word processing and sending all relevant letters to parents with relation to review dates and parent invitations filing all documents relating to SEN students and organisation of such SEN files

The ideal candidate will:



Have experience gained within education or welfare sector. Experience of working with families and students in a pastoral role is desirable, but not essential. Have a good general level of education to include Maths and English GCSE grade C or above, and further formal qualifications relevant to this post. Have a strong written and verbal communication skills Have good IT skills including the use of Word and Excel. Have high expectations and standards. Be able to support families' and students' emotional and mental health needs. Have the belief that every student can be successful. Have the desire to make a real difference to the lives of our students.
