The Role

We are seeking an experienced

Income Management Manager

to join our Income Team on a permanent, part-time basis

(22.5 hours per week, 3 days per week - Wednesday/Thursday/Friday)

.




In this role, you will lead and develop a team of Income Managers to deliver effective income recovery across all housing-related debts, ensuring compliance with legal and organisational policies. You will manage high-level rent accounts, oversee court proceedings, and provide strategic direction to maximise income while maintaining excellent customer service.



Day-to-day, you will motivate and support your team, monitor performance against KPIs, manage complex cases including evictions, and liaise with internal and external stakeholders. You will ensure robust reporting and continuous improvement of income management processes, while upholding safeguarding standards and delivering training. The role also involves preparing legal paperwork, attending court hearings, and contributing to policy development.



The successful candidate will have proven experience in social housing income recovery, including court possession cases, and a strong understanding of relevant legislation. You will be confident managing staff, handling difficult situations, and presenting clear reports. Experience in lone working, customer visits, and managing multiple income streams is essential, along with a commitment to excellent service and safeguarding tenants.

24,953 per annum + car allowance (

pro-rated from 41,033 FTE)

Permanent, Part-time Contract (22.5h per week)

Working Pattern: 3 days per week - Wednesday/Thursday/Friday - 8:30am - 5pm

Start date expected mid-late August
