We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. Duties
Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with the restaurant's menu and standards.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient food production.
Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, adhering to food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
Collaborate with the management team to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive team atmosphere.
Ensure that all dishes are presented beautifully and meet the restaurant's quality expectations.
Assist in managing kitchen schedules, ensuring adequate staffing for peak service times.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant or similar hospitality environment.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
In-depth knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in food preparation and presentation.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
