Responsibilities

Assisting in food preparation and cooking activities according to established recipes and standards Preparing ingredients and assembling dishes in line with menu specifications Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations Supporting meal preparation during busy service times to ensure timely delivery of orders Assisting with stock rotation, inventory checks, and restocking supplies as needed Ensuring all food handling procedures adhere to health and safety guidelines Serving meals to customers in a courteous and professional manner when required Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during shifts

Qualifications

Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or a kitchen environment is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices Experience working in a restaurant or catering setting is advantageous Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods Good organisational skills and attention to detail Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends if required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21-13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
