Responsibilities

Assisting with food preparation and meal assembly in accordance with established recipes and standards Cooking and plating dishes to ensure quality presentation and taste Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing utensils and equipment Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene practices at all times Supporting the team during busy service periods, including serving customers when required Monitoring stock levels and assisting with inventory management Following health and safety procedures diligently to create a safe working environment

Qualifications

Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen environments is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices Experience working in a restaurant or catering setting is advantageous Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team A genuine interest in culinary arts and meal preparation Flexibility to work shifts as required, including weekends if necessary
