Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and talented Chef able to cook South Indian Cuisine to join our team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the food preparation and cooking process, managing the kitchen team, and ensuring the highest quality of culinary creations. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and quality standards
- Manage and supervise kitchen staff, including assigning tasks and providing guidance
- Collaborate with the team to create innovative menu items and specials
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Train new kitchen staff members on proper cooking techniques and procedures
- Assist in the development of new recipes and menu items
- Oversee food presentation to ensure it meets quality standards
- Handle any customer concerns or complaints regarding food quality or service
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Chef or similar role in a restaurant or culinary establishment
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary trends
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Culinary degree or certification is preferred but not required
