Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Installation Manager to oversee the installation processes within our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Glazing, Construction and installation. This role requires excellent leadership abilities, as you will be responsible for managing a team of installers, ensuring that projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.

Duties

Lead and supervise installation teams on-site, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards. Coordinate and schedule installation activities, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely completion of projects. Review project plans and schematics to ensure accurate implementation of designs. Provide hands-on support in various installation tasks including masonry, plastering, painting, plumbing, roofing, and electrical work as needed. Train and mentor team members in the use of power tools and equipment, promoting best practices in installation techniques. Conduct regular inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations. Liaise with clients to address any concerns or modifications during the installation process. Maintain accurate records of project progress, materials used, and any issues encountered.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a managerial role within the construction or installation industry. Strong knowledge of construction and especially the glazing industry. Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and technical drawings. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Strong problem-solving skills with an attention to detail. Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently. Valid driving licence is preferred for travel between job sites.
