Job Description

This role is for Maintec Ltd, which is part of the ABCA Group.

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Installation Manager to oversee and coordinate the delivery of installation projects. This is an office-based role responsible for managing the end-to-end installation process, ensuring high standards of quality, compliance, and efficiency. The successful candidate must possess hands-on experience with Warden Call, Door Entry, and Fire Alarm Systems.

What You'll Be Doing:



Manage all aspects of installation projects from planning and scheduling to completion and client handover. Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure timely and efficient project delivery. Review technical drawings, specifications, and system designs, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards. Provide technical guidance and support to engineers and installation teams, particularly in Warden Call, Door Entry, and Fire Systems. Oversee procurement of necessary equipment and materials. Ensure all installations are compliant with BS5839, BS8629, and other relevant fire and security standards. Monitor project budgets, progress, and performance; report regularly to senior management. Conduct site visits as required to verify installation quality and resolve any technical or operational issues. Liaise with clients to manage expectations and deliver exceptional service. Drive continuous improvement across installation processes and documentation.

What We're Looking For:



Proven experience managing installations within the Fire & Security industry. Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with Warden Call Systems, Door Entry Systems and Fire Alarm Systems Excellent understanding of relevant legislation and standards (e.g., BS5839, BS8629, EN54). Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools. FIA or equivalent Fire Alarm qualifications. Manufacturer training on major Warden Call or Door Entry systems. ECS/CSCS or relevant H&S certifications. Valid UK driving licence
