The purpose of this role is to provide a customer-focused cavity wall insulation installation and extraction service. The role requires strict adherence to all technical specifications, as well as ensuring that all relevant safety checks and precautions are carried out in line with company policies and industry best practice.
The postholder will be expected to consistently demonstrate Evolve's core competencies, particularly in relation to customer focus, communication, health and safety, quality, teamwork, and organisation.
You will be responsible for installing and extracting all confirmed booked work in accordance with job sheets, and for communicating promptly with your supervisor if a worksheet cannot be adhered to. Pre- and post-work inspections must be carried out, with any identified issues addressed appropriately.
Effective communication with customers is essential. This includes explaining the work before, during, and after installation, highlighting any issues or changes required, and ensuring customer satisfaction upon completion of the job.
All work must be completed safely and to a high standard by following best-practice procedures. Machinery and equipment must be set in line with technical and system designer specifications to ensure correct installation processes. You may also be required to undertake other reasonable tasks as requested by the company.
There will be occasions where working away from home is required. Prior notice will be provided in these circumstances.
Job Requirements
The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and flexible individual, willing to work the hours required to meet daily work schedules. All work must be completed in accordance with system designer specifications, with effective and reliable communication maintained with relevant booking and operational staff.
Daily and weekly health and safety checks must be completed in full, with any defects reported promptly. The role also requires compliance with BBA audit requirements and ensuring that vehicles and equipment are maintained to predetermined standards.

You must be able to deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers and communicate effectively with colleagues within your team. A strong commitment to maintaining and improving health and safety and quality standards is essential, achieved through strict adherence to internal and external policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
The role requires the ability to plan and organise on-site work efficiently, along with a motivation to learn and continually develop professional expertise. You should be able to demonstrate commitment and drive, balanced with flexibility.
Experience
Experience of working as part of a team and the ability to work on your own initiative are required.
Desirable Criteria
Previous experience within the insulation industry is desirable, along with ACOPs certification, CITB registration, and recognition as an industry-approved installer. A full driving licence is also required.
