About the Team:



The brokerage team plays an important role in the work that is done in Adult Social care in terms of commissioning support to enable our residents to continue living at home in the community or if they need to move onto long term care provision. The brokerage works hand in hand with our care management teams to provide support for the residents of Lambeth.



About the Role:



The Brokerage Officer will act as a source of information, advice and support for service users, carers, families and partners, to enable to them to make the right choice of placement to support the individual's needs and care requirements. The Brokerage Officer will inform service users, carers and partners of their rights and contractual obligations. To deliver appropriate standards and achieve value for money in the procurement and delivery of services.


To source, negotiate and broker all care placement, extra care and domiciliary care packages for service users with more complex needs within and outside the established.



You will need to have excellent communication skills along with good IT skills, an experienced manager and used to working in a fast-paced team.
