About The Role


Are you a passionate and driven recruiter looking to make a real impact in the care sector? We are looking for an Internal Recruiter to join our team! This is an exciting opportunity where you will play a key role in hiring compassionate and dedicated support workers, directly contributing to the quality of care we provide.

You will be part of a small but dynamic team, responsible for interviewing candidates and guiding them through the hiring and onboarding process-- ensuring they have an unrivalled candidate experience from application to offer stage. In addition to recruitment, you will support HR onboarding tasks, helping candidates smoothly transition into their new roles, supporting payroll, audits and other HR related activities.


What will you be doing?


Conducting screening calls, face-to-face and live video interviews, assessing candidates against company values and competency-based criteria.
Ensuring all interview notes and scores are accurately recorded and reflective of candidate conversations.
Engaging with inbound candidate enquiries and proactively sourcing new candidates through referrals and direct outreach.
Providing timely responses to candidate queries via phone, email offering accurate information about our roles, culture, and values.


Supporting HR onboarding by:


Sending contracts and offer letters to successful candidates.


Chasing references and right-to-work documentation to ensure compliance.
Coordinating pre-employment checks, including DBS applications and mandatory training.
Ensuring candidates are fully onboarded before their start date, keeping them engaged throughout the process.
Keeping our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) up to date with accurate candidate records.
Participating in internal meetings, training sessions, and company-wide activities, as well as attending recruitment events when required.
Ensuring compliance with Equal Opportunity, Data Protection, and Health & Safety policies.
Supporting additional recruitment, business administration and other HR-related duties in line with business needs.


What are we looking for?


Excellent communication skills - strong verbal and written English.
Competent in IT software (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.)
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Experience in high volume recruitment or a high-profile customer service role.
Experience in HR onboarding processes, such as issuing contracts and chasing references.
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
Passion for delivering a high-quality candidate experience.
A confident communicator with strong empathy and listening skills.
Ability to work under deadlines while managing multiple projects.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
A team player who is also a self-starter and can work independently.
Ability to follow structured processes effectively.
Experience recruiting in the health and social care sector (desirable but not essential).
