We are currently seeking a highly motivated and proactive
Internal Sales Executive
to join our team at our busy Basildon branch. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a rapidly expanding company that places its people and customers at the heart of everything we do.
Role Overview
As an Internal Sales Executive, you will play a key role in supporting the daily operations of the sales office. You will be responsible for handling customer enquiries, processing sales and purchase orders, and ensuring excellent communication with both clients and suppliers. This position requires a collaborative, hands-on individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
Responding promptly and professionally to telephone and email enquiries
Processing sales orders and quotations with accuracy and efficiency
Managing purchase orders and liaising with suppliers to ensure timely delivery
Building strong relationships with customers and maintaining regular communication
Supporting general office administration and contributing to the smooth running of the branch
After a successful period of training on the above duties we would look to include the below tasks as part of the daily role.
Daily follow-up on quotes raised by the branch.
Documenting quote feedback on the system
Customer introduction calls to new account emails sent out.
Calls to zero/low spend accounts follow-up
Gaining knowledge on potential spends with SVS & spend with other current suppliers
Key account management, where applicable
Ideal Candidate Profile
Previous experience in the HVAC industry, construction-related sales, or a trade counter environment will be very advantageous. We do welcome applications from candidates who demonstrate a strong work ethic, a practical mindset, and a willingness to learn.
