Mitre are currently recruiting for an Internal Sales Executive to join our Internal Sales team based in Merthyr Tydfil.

This is an exciting opportunity to manage a portfolio of key accounts and support business growth by leveraging our core products and capabilities. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for their customers, ensuring excellent service while identifying and converting new sales opportunities.

This role will be based at our Merthyr Tydfil office, with flexibility to work from home as part of a hybrid working pattern after a period of training. The role will be Monday - Friday, 8:15 am - 5pm, With an annual Salary of 25,450.

Key Accountabilities

Build and maintain accurate client records and sales data. Strengthen relationships with existing customers and identify new opportunities. Process sales orders and respond to client enquiries, including delivery, stock, and quality issues. Convert non-spending sites into active customers and grow existing accounts. Confidently communicate product capabilities and benefits. Use internal tools to meet and exceed monthly sales targets. Maintain healthy profit margins in line with company objectives. Stay up to date with product knowledge and market trends. Record leads and key communications on the company system. Support general administrative duties as required.

Mitre Linen has been a wholly owned subsidiary of Nisbets Ltd since 2016, and is known as one of the premier suppliers of bedding, towels and soft furnishings to the hospitality industry - serving hotels, leisure resorts, care homes, laundries and other service-oriented sectors across the UK.

Founded in London in 1946, Mitre started as a supplier of bed linens and towels to hotels, with a focus on quality, durability, and practicality. This focus on the needs of the hospitality industry set it apart early on, as there was little available in the market that was designed specifically for the wear and tear experienced in hotel environments.

Today Mitre employs over 60 people, with a single site 60,000 sq. ft warehouse and call centre facility in Merthyr Tydfil, South Wales.
