We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Internal Sales Executive to join our Southampton branch . Reporting directly to the Sales Office Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting our sales strategy by managing existing accounts, developing new business opportunities, and providing excellent customer service.
What you'll be doing:
Manage existing customer accounts to maximise sales and profitability
Open and develop new accounts with a focus on profitable growth
Engage with customers via phone and face-to-face to process orders accurately using our CRM system
Provide quotes and maximise add-on sales opportunities
Proactively contact lapsed and potential new customers to generate sales
Work closely with warehouse and external sales teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment
Support credit control and other internal departments as required
Assist on the trade counter when needed
Promote the full range of products across the group
What you'll bring:
Previous internal sales experience, ideally within construction distribution
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Good numeracy and IT skills, with attention to detail
Target-driven and proactive approach to sales
