Weldfast UK Limited is a leading independent wholesaler of welding, cutting, electrodes manufacture, safety equipment and associated products. Established in 2007 with over 35 years of experience in the welding industry, supplying over 800 Distributors in the UK and worldwide.

Role puropose

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Internal Sales Operative to handle inbound sales calls and support customer enquiries. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for customers, providing product advice, quotations, and order processing while delivering outstanding service whilst working closely with our Business Development Managers.

Key Responsibilities

Handle a high volume of inbound sales calls from customers. Provide accurate information and technical advice on welding products, equipment, and accessories. Prepare and issue quotations and sales orders in a timely manner and efficient manner. Identify customer needs and offer appropriate solutions as alternatives. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers. Hand on support for our Business Development Managers/ Machine Sales reps. Work closely with the external sales team to support larger accounts and projects. Maintain up to date knowledge of the company's product range and industry developments. Use relevant support systems to log customer interactions and manage orders. Processing Customer orders, dealing with customer queries and general office duties.

Skills Knowledge and Experience

Proven experience in a sales, customer service or technical support role. (preferably in an industrial or welding related field) Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience with Microsoft Office packages/ office printers/ scanners/ fax machine etc. Excellent time management skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritise workload. High Attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to work well under pressure. Welding Industry knowledge preferred but not essential. Experience of managing tasks independently and meeting deadlines. Flexibility to learn new skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 26,436.80-27,352.00 per year
