General Dynamics Land Systems is on the look-out for a full-time International Marketing Manager to join our Business Development Team, based in Merthyr, South Wales. The successful and inclusive candidate will earn a favourable salary circa. 58,400, based on experience and potential. We are looking for an engaging International Marketing Manager to lead and manage marketing and global trade show activity across General Dynamics Land Systems (GDLS) business units. In this role, you will conceptualise marketing ideas for trade events, liaise with vendors and guests, and oversee the trade show operations. In addition will oversee the marketing and trade show strategies and campaigns to ensure alignment with Global GDLS branding.
To ensure success you should possess excellent project management skills and have good marketing and communications experience. Your will have the versatility to organise shows with a global perspective and the ability to problem-solve under pressure.

Develop and execute strategic plans to promote new product technology releases and re-energise products through major trade shows and events
Collaborate with the global marketing and communications teams and organisers to define the strategy and event requirements
Research and present concepts and ideas to the organisers and sponsors for feedback
Prepare, present, and manage budget requirements
Secure venues, plan the layout, and liaise with vendors to determine both requirements
Manage booking and registration of vendors, sponsors, and guests.
Arrange travel and accommodation logistics, administration, and bookings (as required)
Coordinate the logistical requirements such as security, equipment rentals, and catering services
Manage the trade show floor to ensure the event operates smooth
Troubleshoot emerging problems and support resolution of issues arising at events
Coordinate GDLS key personnel attendance of Domestic/International Marketing events
Ensure compliance with CGP, ITAR, and other applicable international regulations
Travel to Domestic and International trade show and other similar events
To apply for this role, you will require the following:
Bachelor's degree in project management, marketing, communications, or similar
A minimum of 5 years' experience as a marketing/trade show specialist or similar
Excellent financial management abilities
Highly charismatic and engaging
Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
Strong organisational and time management abilities
Must be a self-starter, work independently with minimum supervision
Must demonstrate the characteristics of flexibility, dependability and reliability
Ability to manage multiple activities under pressure and interact with functional groups successfully
Strong verbal and written communication, including: facilitate discussions, presentation and organisational skills
Ability to travel Internationally and possess/be able to acquire and maintain a valid passport and/or VISA - Travel is significant
