Role Overview

As an Inventory Clerk, you'll play a key role in ensuring our rental properties are well-documented and maintained. You will be responsible for preparing detailed inventory reports, conducting mid-tenancy inspections, and managing check-out processes to support a smooth transition between tenancies.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed and accurate inventory reports for new tenancies, including photographs and descriptions. Conduct property visits and mid-term inspections, reporting on condition and any issues. Carry out check-out inspections at the end of tenancies and report on changes or damages. Liaise with lettings coordinators and property managers to ensure timely and professional service delivery. Travel across Essex and Suffolk to attend appointments at various properties. Maintain up-to-date records and comply with internal reporting procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:

Previous experience in lettings, property inspections, or inventory work is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage time effectively and work independently in a field-based role. Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (car allowance provided). Confident using technology such as tablets and property reporting software.
