A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our Trade Mark Team. This role is an in-house support position for one of our largest clients. We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic individual with a team-based approach, and the ability to take responsibility for accuracy and efficiency. Your work will be both varied and challenging.
Core responsibilities include:Provision of administration and case management support for IP counsels in the IP team at one of our largest trade mark clients
Preparation of correspondence for general and specific case/client requirements, ensuring all deadlines are met
Manage queries relating to design, copyright, trade mark law and marketing advice for multiple client departments
Act as liaison between HLK and the in-house IP counsels to provide instructions and progress work matters
Preparing draft advice on the full range of IP and marketing matters
Translating legal risk to facilitate decision making for the client
Candidates should possess the following skills and experiences:Ideally have some experience in intellectual property
A keen interest in intellectual property and great client service
Educated to degree level, having achieved at least a 2.1.
Flexible towards changes and ability to adapt to ensure the smooth and efficient service to the team
Ability to work independently and manage own workload
Good standards of written and spoken English with very strong attention to detail
Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
Good organisational and interpersonal skills
Competence with MS Word, Excel and Outlook demonstrable by administrative work experience
