Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven IT Executive to join our team at GCB Cocoa UK.

This role is responsible for IT Operations at our state of the art, industrial chocolate manufacturing site, working closely with 3rd party IT providers and the Global IT Team to support the growth of the business as it continues to ramp up production capacity.

You will be heavily involved in the implementation of Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) in the UK.

Required skills and qualifications



A bachelor's degree in IT or similar subject A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar or frontline IT role in a manufacturing environment Strong hardware management skills (server control, networking)

User Support Skills:



Proficiency in troubleshooting Microsoft Windows OS and Microsoft 365 suite (Outlook, Excel, Teams, OneDrive, etc.) Experience providing desktop support including remote and on-site troubleshooting Familiarity with helpdesk systems and ticketing workflows (e.g. Jira, Freshdesk, ServiceNow) Hardware & Infrastructure Support Skills: Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN, VPNs) Experience configuring and supporting printers, scanners, and other peripherals Hands-on experience in maintaining IT hardware (laptops, desktops, mobile devices, barcode scanners) Basic knowledge of Active Directory, group policies, and user account management Experience in server backups, UPS systems, and hardware lifecycle management

Additional:



Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices for endpoint protection Ability to perform IT onboarding/offboarding tasks (user account setup, hardware provisioning)

Preferred skills and qualifications



Experience working with / implementation of Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC)

Key Responsibilities / Core Activities



Identify and proactively address IT service and infrastructure risks Identify & implement innovative solutions to streamline day to day processes and keep up to date with new technologies Manage vendors and internal customer service to agreed standards Manage the replacement cycle as well as day-to-day maintenance of the IT network and infrastructure on site, carrying out server management, maintenance and back-ups in line with best practice methodologies Oversee IT projects to ensure that they meet business requirements and are actioned in a timely manner Responsible for support of all software packages within the business including installation, training, upgrades, maintenance, licenses and day-today user support. Maintain an asset register for all IT business assets (hardware & software) Manage cybersecurity risks to the UK entity, working with the Global IT team as needed.

Working Pattern:


08.00 - 17.00, Monday - Friday (1 hour lunch break)
