Key responsibilities of this role include:




Providing first line hardware and software technical support to all UK H&G UK and DHL Air system users Performing all IT housekeeping tasks as per work instructions Liaising with Global Aviation IT and Leipzig H&G IT Service Desk and other DHL entities for support and service requests when required Ensuring all IT calls and jobs are completed and recorded in accordance with work instructions and internal SLA's Delivering proactive incident management by monitoring background processes, communication links and devices for errors Ensuring that all shift and backup logs are correctly maintained and that all documentation is kept up to date Ordering and maintaining IT hardware and consumables All employees are responsible for the health and safety of themselves and also those affected by their activities.

Knowledge / experience required:



Incident Management and Escalation AS400, Active Directory, Citrix and Windows 10 Microsoft Office products Remote Desktop Technology Server administration VMWare administration LAN, WAN & WLAN Firewall concepts File Backup/Restore procedures Linux (beneficial but not essential) + Second line support experience in an IT support environment

You'll also bring to this role:



Effective written and verbal communication skills Excellent demonstrable trouble shooting skills Analytical & Logical approach Problem Solving abilities A safety first attitude. Ability to work under pressure IT Literate Have a proactive mind set, and a positive can do approach to business support Proven IT business support in a fast paced business environment
