Job Description

MCS Group is currently partnering with a prominent manufacturing client to recruit an IT Support Technician. This is a temporary 1-month contract, with the potential for extension, providing a unique opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team and make an impact in a critical period.

Responsibilities:

• Providing hands-on IT support within a manufacturing environment, with a strong focus on networking, patching, and fault finding.
• Facilitating hardware installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Leveraging your expertise in the O365 suite to assist in optimising digital work flows and productivity.
• Collaborating with the existing IT team to ensure seamless IT operations during a transitional period.
• Assisting in solving technical issues promptly to minimise downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
• Documenting procedures, solutions, and troubleshooting steps to enhance knowledge sharing.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in manufacturing-based IT support (Desirable)
• Strong expertise in hardware installation and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office 365 suite.
