About the Role:



We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented

Accounts Administrator / Block Management Coordinator

to join our commercial property team. This varied role combines property finance administration with hands-on involvement in block management tasks. You will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy and delivering a responsive property management service across a mixed portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:



Maintain accurate financial records for

ground rents

,

service charges

, and

commercial rent accounts

. Manage the commercial department's

financial ledger

to ensure accuracy and compliance. Co-ordinate

local service charges

, including

budget preparation

,

schedule production

, and liaison with

directors

,

contractors

, and stakeholders. Prepare and deliver

financial reports

for internal management, accountants, landlords, freeholders, and solicitors. Issue invoices, process payments, liaise with

utility providers

, and monitor/chase arrears to ensure timely collection. Complete legal property forms in connection with

service charge

and

ground rent

transactions. Deal with

day-to-day block management

, including: Organising

maintenance and repair works

Obtaining quotations Liaising with

contractors

and

occupiers

to ensure works are coordinated efficiently Provide responsive, professional support to incoming

customer enquiries

. Undertake additional duties as requested by management, showing flexibility and initiative.

Ideal Candidate Profile:



Previous experience in

property accounts

,

block management

, or

property administration

is highly desirable but not essential Strong attention to detail, excellent numeracy skills, and sound organisational ability. Comfortable managing a varied workload and meeting deadlines. Confident communicator with experience dealing with contractors, tenants, and property owners.
