Overview

We are seeking a skilled Joiner/Carpenter to join our long-term kitchen and bathroom replacement programme within occupied social housing properties in the Liverpool area. The role involves first and second fix joinery, including kitchen unit installation, boxing-in, doors, trims and finishing works, delivering quality workmanship with attention to detail and tenant care.

Key Responsibilities

Install new kitchen units, worktops, end panels, pelmets, cornices, and trims to specification. Carry out first and second fix joinery, including studwork, framework, doors, skirting, architraves, and bathroom panels/boxing-in. Adjust and align doors, units and fixtures for a professional finish. Fit access panels and carry out minor carpentry repairs as required. Ensure all joinery is completed to a high standard, ready for follow-on trades (tilers, painters, plumbers). Work professionally within occupied properties, maintaining respect and communication with tenants. Maintain a clean and safe working area, disposing of waste appropriately. Coordinate with site supervisors and other trades to ensure efficient progress of the programme. Comply with health & safety procedures at all times.
Requirements

Proven experience as a Joiner/Carpenter in social housing, domestic fit-out, or planned maintenance environments. Competent in kitchen fitting and bathroom joinery works. Own tools and transport preferred. CSCS card desirable. Ability to deliver high-quality finishes at a good working pace. Good communication and professional conduct when working in occupied homes. Understanding of on-site health & safety compliance.

Pay: 160.00-200.00 per day
