D3 Design & Display Ltd have been providing a quality service to their commercial and retail clients since 1990. We have a proven track record of delivering multi-million pound commercial and residential joinery and fit-out projects throughout the UK and Europe.

Due to an increase in business and further growth expected as part of our ongoing business development we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager / Estimator.

The successful candidate will be a key team member and will play an integral role in managing projects to ensure they're delivered on time, on budget and to an exceptionally high standard.

Key responsibilities
o Estimate and quote for site and contract work as part of the wider Estimating team, including estimates for manufactured joinery when needed.

Manage 2-4 projects at any given time, providing a single point of contact for the client
o Source and manage subcontractors for services such as flooring, plastering, plumbing etc.

Control all commercial aspects of each project from inception through to completion including creation and control of an accurate project programme.

Issue detailed monthly progress reports to clients
o Follow projects from enquiry to hand-over through to final accounts.

Build and maintain excellent client relationships.

Put in place health and safety plans, implementing and managing all aspects of risk control on site.

Communicate company policies; quality control; health, safety and environmental standards to all members of the project team.

Motivate and inspire teams whilst ensuring effective communication is maintained.

The ideal candidate.

Experience managing joinery / shop-fitting / commercial fit-out projects.

Experience estimating both site works and factory-built joinery.

A joinery / construction background and / or a related degree.

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel.

Ability to confidently communicate with both internal and external contacts.

The capacity to inspire and motivate others through skilful use of appropriate leadership style.

A calm-minded individual who works well under pressure.

A quick learner with a keen eye for detail.

Key Skills.

Knowledge of current H&S and environmental legislation.

Commercial and contractual management skills.

Min. 2 years Project Management experience.

Full UK driving Licence.
