Step into the role of Sales Manager - Midlands and South East here at Joules Head Office within our growing and friendly Partnerships Team!
Your Role:
Reporting into the Wholesale & International Manager; you'll focus on maximizing all sales opportunities within the existing book of accounts as well as identifying new target retailers within the Midlands and South East region.
You'll be:

  • Developing and executing the territory growth strategy alongside the Business.
  • Future season and in season sales growth and management.
  • Forecasting seasonal product/revenue for your territory.
  • Future season sell-in planning, appointment management and customer relationship management to ensure sales growth.
  • Presenting new ranges to your accounts.
  • Ensuring regular visits/communication with all retailers/buyers - 60% of time on the road.
  • Sell out detail/trading communication.
  • Proposing new accounts in your territory in line with the premium Joules brand positioning.
  • Proposing accounts to exit in your territory in line with the premium Joules brand positioning.
  • Working alongside the Wholesale Operations team to ensure all enquiries/orders/deliveries are managed to a satisfactory standard.
  • Identifying business opportunities and growing the region using a strategic approach.
  • Attending trade shows (multiple locations) as well as range reviews and range handovers at The Barn.
  • Applying commercial awareness to make 'brand-appropriate' decisions.
  • Having weekly updates on key meetings, opportunities and territory growth.
  • Ensuring Joules is in all the right points of distribution that align with the brand premium positioning and presentation.
About You:
From a technical and operational perspective, it would also be advantageous if you:
  • Previous experience as a Regional Sales Manager or an Account Manager. Ideally within a lifestyle brand and with a list of contacts for potential accounts in your territory.
  • Proven experience of managing a book of accounts.
  • A track record of growing a territory in a commercial/strategic way.
  • Topline Brand/business trading and commercial awareness.
  • High accuracy, reliability and attention to detail.
  • A personable and positive approach, you're accustomed to maximizing sales through professional relationships, whilst understanding business limitations.
  • Confidence in making commercial decisions, happy to take direction from more senior team members, when needed.
  • Effective time and diary management.
  • The ability to understand the wider context of managing accounts, liaising with different functions of the business internally, focused on clear and concise communication.

Where will you be working?
This is a full time, field based role with non field based days being spent at 'The Barn' - Joules' purpose built Head Office in Market Harborough, Leicestershire.
You must be able and willing to travel within your territory as well as to other locations including but not limited to - London, Birmingham & Harrogate for meetings and tradeshows as required.
