About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accounts Assistant to support our finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start or build a career in accounting.
Key Responsibilities
Process incoming supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner for all production shoots.
Chase suppliers for outstanding invoices to ensure timely processing and avoid payment delays
Respond to supplier queries and maintain positive relationships
Support the finance & production team with administrative and ad hoc tasks
Review data to ensure accuracy of data input and prioritises projects in order of importance
Track cost expenditure on production projects and chase outstanding expenses with both producer and supplier.
Update various data including financial information, account detail and customer information on inhouse billing systems.
Communicate discrepancies to producer and accounts team.
Monthly Credit Card Reconciliation.
Accounts email management, ensuring all emails are resolved within the agreed SLA timescale
Skills Requirements
Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent typing skills and proficiency in learning to navigate various online accounting software.
Good interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
Proficient literacy and numeracy skills
Work to strict weekly deadlines.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Desirable
Previous experience in a similar role (internship or work placement welcome)
Familiarity with accounting software ( QuickBooks)
