We are an expanding Chartered Architectural Practice with a Head Office in Lewes with over 30 years of experience delivering projects throughout the country mainly working with corporate clients in the Hotel sector.
This position will be based in our Head Office, we also have offices in London and Exeter.
Job Summary:
Axiom Architects are looking for a motivated Junior Architectural
Technician to join our architectural support team. In this role, you will
be involved in building detailed and data-rich 3D building models using
Vectorworks--our primary design and delivery platform.
This position offers hands-on training and mentorship designed to build your
skills from foundational knowledge to advanced proficiency in Vectorworks.
You'll gain practical experience supporting architectural projects through all
RIBA work stages, helping ensure smooth project delivery.
Working alongside experienced professionals, you will assist with
maintaining project models, managing essential data assets, and gradually
take on more responsibility within design and technical tasks as you grow into your role.
Requirements:
- Enthusiastic about digital design tools and eager to learn new software.
- Interested in understanding the full lifecycle of architectural projects
- Strong computer skills with the ability learn new software programs
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Pro-active and flexible with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Detail-oriented with willingness to work within a team
- No prior experience with Vectorworks required; willingness to learn is key
