Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Junior CAD Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans using SigmaNEST CAD software.
Duties
Develop and prepare detailed drawings. Review and modify existing drawings to reflect changes in project scope or specifications. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all technical documentation. Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including specifications and reports. Maintain an organised archive of all project files and documentation for future reference.
Skills
Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, SketchUp, NavisWorks, and SolidWorks. Ability to create precise schematics and technical drawings. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members. Problem-solving abilities to address design challenges as they arise. Experience of working with SigmaNEST software preferred. The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a metal profile cutting/ fabrication environment. A strong knowledge/experience of CNC cutting and programming and associated manufacturing processes.
