Job Overview



As support to the Graphic Designer you are responsible for creating engaging and on-brand graphics for various media, including advertisements, websites, digital and print materials. The role involves understanding client needs, conceptualizing designs, and producing high-quality visual content that captivates the target audience.

The successful candidate will also support the Social Media Manager to cover holidays.

Key Responsibilities



Design Creation

: Develop visual concepts, graphics, and layouts for various projects, including websites, brochures, advertisements, sports arenas and social media content.

Client Collaboration

: Work closely with MG, Nathaniel Sales and Nathaniel stakeholders to understand their vision, goals, and requirements, ensuring designs align with their branding and messaging.

Revisions and Feedback

: Incorporate feedback from clients and team members to refine designs and ensure satisfaction with the final product.

Software Proficiency

: Utilize design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Word Press to create and edit graphics for printed and digital media. Good working knowledge of key social media platforms is preferred.

Trend Awareness

: Stay updated on industry trends, design techniques, and software advancements to maintain a fresh and relevant design approach.

Required Skills and Qualifications



Creativity

: Strong artistic ability and a keen eye for aesthetics, colour, and typography. Creating appealing and creative digital content for Nathaniel Cars various social media platforms.

Technical Skills

: Proficiency in graphic design software, particularly Adobe Creative Suite and ideally with Word Press. Preferred knowledge of social media software such as Notion, Hootsuite and Meta, with a view of understanding how to grow followers across all platforms.

Communication

: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey ideas and collaborate with clients and team members.

Time Management

: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Accuracy

: Excellent proof reading skills to ensure accuracy of promotion materials.

Portfolio

: A strong portfolio showcasing previous design work and a variety of styles and techniques.

Work Environment



This is an office based opportunity working with the Marketing Team at our Bridgend dealership, but will the flexibility to be able to work from any of our 4 South Wales showrooms as well as from clubs we sponsorship such as Cardiff City or Swansea.Com Stadium.

Reporting Structure



Although working closely with the Graphic Designer, Offsite Marketing Manager and Social Media Manager, the Graphic Design Assistant will report directly to the Marketing Manager.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From 26,984.10 per year
