Job Description

HRV are specialists in the design, installation and maintenance of ventilation systems that help deliver fresh, efficient, and comfortable indoor environments. We install in new homes and buildings as well as servicing and maintaining existing systems with a wide range of customers from developers, landlords, property management companies, and homeowners.

The Role


Reporting to the Senior Estimator of the Projects Division, the primary function of the Estimator role is to ensure the accurate preparation and submission of quotes for new and existing HRV customers across commercial and residential projects. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our project bidding process and must ensure that customers receive accurate and competitive estimates that include all the required costs and meet required margins.

What are the key responsibilities of the role?



The role involves managing various aspects of tender submission process;

Review new project leads, plans, specifications, and other documents to prepare accurate estimates Gather and analyse labour, material, and equipment costs to determine project costs Create detailed take offs to build accurate tender submissions using Ensign and SimPRO including the calculation of airflow rates to Building Regulation requirements Identify and quantify potential risks and opportunities associated with each project Track and maintain accurate records of estimate progress to contribute to forecasting Conduct handover meetings with the operations team for new project starts Keep up to date with industry trends, Regulations, and product advancements to ensure competitive pricing and value-added solutions

Salary DOE

Pay: 30,000.00-40,000.00 per year
