We are now looking for a
Junior Office Administrator
to join our team and support the smooth day-to-day running of our office and property portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
As a Junior Office Administrator, your duties will include:
Rent Collection & Arrears Management
Monitoring rent payments
Chasing late payments and maintaining arrears records
Preparing monthly rent statements for landlords
Compliance & Documentation
Ensuring all properties are compliant with current legislation (e.g. gas safety, EICR, EPC)
Booking inspections and following up with contractors
Keeping accurate digital records and filing key compliance documents
Legislation & Regulation
Staying updated on key property legislation changes (e.g. Section 21, HMO licensing)
Assisting the team in implementing any regulatory changes
Tenancy Administration
Assisting in preparing tenancy agreements and renewals
Coordinating move-ins/move-outs and deposit handling
Managing tenant referencing and ID checks
Office Support & General Admin
Answering phones and responding to emails in a timely, professional manner
Managing incoming/outgoing post, supplies, and contractor schedules
Supporting property managers with admin tasks as needed
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in an office or administrative role (property management experience a bonus)
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Confident communicator (written and verbal)
Basic understanding of property compliance and lettings legislation (training provided)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to multitask and work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
Desirable Qualifications
ARLA Propertymark or similar training (advantageous, not essential)
Experience using property software (e.g. Arthur, Alto) is a plus
