Job Summary - 40-45 hours per week
Fauna Brewing is a craft beer brand based in Sussex, we are extremely excited to be launching our first pub in London (3rd venue overall) The pub is currently called the All Inn One and has not served food for over 7 years. We are seeking an experienced and passionate junior sous chef to help our kitchen team deliver exceptional culinary experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and restaurant operations, with a flair for creativity and a commitment to food safety standards.
At Fauna Brewing, we are all about high-quality craft beer and want to create a street food-style menu that pairs perfectly with our range. The concept is going to be tacos with influences from around the world
Duties
Support the head chef and run services in their absence, ensuring an efficient workflow and adherence to culinary standards.
Help plan and develop menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
Oversee food preparation and presentation, ensuring dishes are served at the highest quality.
Maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
Requirements
Proven experience as a senior CDP or junior sous chef.
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation methods, and food safety regulations.
A passion for cooking.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong organisational skills with the capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
