. This role gives children the opportunity to improve their fitness, coordination, focus, and confidence while learning karate in a structured, safe, and supportive environment.
The club runs
Fridays, 3:30pm - 4:30pm

1 hour per week
).
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise a small group of primary-aged children in karate sessions.
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons that promote physical skills, discipline, and self-control.
Encourage confidence, respect, teamwork, and enjoyment through karate practice.
Communicate effectively with parents and school staff regarding children's progress and wellbeing.
Ensure the space and any equipment are safe, organised, and ready for each session.
Experience & Skills
Experience teaching or coaching karate to children in schools, clubs, or similar settings.
Ability to inspire, engage, and motivate children in a structured yet enjoyable way.
Strong English communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, and school staff.
Relevant karate qualifications or experience in martial arts instruction are highly desirable.
