Main roles - Animal Feeding and Facilities Cleaning

Animal Exercise (Dogs)

Must be able to - Delivering high standards of cleaning & animal health care at all times.

Feeding of all animals in NCAR's care

Working effectively as part of a team in all animal buildings to ensure daily routine Animal Care duties are performed to high professional standards

Be aware of and implement NCAR Health & Safety at work policy with regard to animal care operations, own health & welfare and customer support

Ensure NCAR premises are clean and tidy and fit for purpose at all times
Supporting the Animal Behaviour Team in improving the quality of animal Life and re-homing prospects

Supporting the Animal Adoption process through bringing enquirers/potential customers and animals together for consultations with NCAR specialist staff

General animal duties on a daily basis and working as part of the team

Undertaking appropriate delegated duties from Animal Welfare Manager

Plus any other duties/ jobs that your line manger asks during your working hours

MUST HAVE Qualifications or experience working with animals

This position is for 24-32 hrs contract, but this may alter, it's across a 7 day rota and weekend work will apply.

We possibly may have more than one position available.

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 32 per week
