Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Assistant to join our team. You will be responsible for keeping the kennels and catteries clean and tidy. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal welfare. This position is essential in ensuring a clean, safe, and nurturing environment for all animals during their stay with us.

Duties



Maintain cleanliness of kennels and common areas by performing regular cleaning tasks

Qualifications



Previous experience in animal care is preferred but not essential. A genuine love for animals and commitment to their welfare. Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays if required.
We are looking for someone to help out during the busy times and on Thursdays to work alongside a qualified member of staff to help keep the kennels clean and safe. This role would be suitable for someone who is wanting to work with animals or studying any animal management course.

A suitable candidate must be reliable and ideally have their own transport or able to get to work via other methods of transport.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Up to 13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.5 per week
