We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team. Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients. Maintain a clean and organised kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment. Support chefs during meal service by preparing ingredients and plating dishes as required. Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Help with inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages. Participate in the cleaning of kitchen areas, including floors, surfaces, and equipment. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and high-quality food presentation.

Skills

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred, including restaurant or hotel experience. Basic cooking skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting. Excellent communication skills to work collaboratively within a team. A passion for hospitality and providing exceptional service to guests. Culinary experience is an advantage but not essential; willingness to learn is key. Ability to follow instructions accurately while maintaining attention to detail.
