Responsibilities
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and service.
Prepare high-quality dishes according to the menu specifications, maintaining consistency and presentation.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure effective team management.
Implement and uphold food safety standards, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and enhance existing offerings.
Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to maintain stock.
Train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and safety protocols.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area to promote a safe working environment.
Experience
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management.
Demonstrated supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in both cooking and presentation.
