We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our Head Chef Ryan. The ideal candidate will possess extensive culinary expertise, and a passion for creating exceptional dishes and creating new culniary ideas. This role involves food preparation, helping manage kitchen operations, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. The Chef will play a vital role in delivering an outstanding dining experience for our guests while maintaining a well-organised and efficient kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
Working independently preparing and serving our menu, mainly breakfast and brunch.
Prepare, cook, and present a variety of dishes in accordance with menu specifications and standards
Manage food safety protocols, hygiene standards, and cleanliness within the kitchen area
Controlling waste to optimise efficiency
Food consistency between chefs
Collaborate with management on menu development, special events, and customer feedback
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
Maintain a positive working environment that promotes teamwork, professionalism, and hospitality excellence
Qualifications
Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Extensive culinary knowledge including food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation skills
Strong understanding of food safety standards and hygiene regulations
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure
Previous experience in food production, restaurant service, or hospitality environments is highly desirable
A recognised culinary qualification or equivalent is preferred but not essential
Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract
Pay: 13.00-15.00 per hour
